Founded to celebrate products created with integrity, transparency and care, the Clean + Conscious Awards recognise brands across Australia and New Zealand demonstrating excellence not only in product quality and performance, but also in sustainability, ethics and health-conscious formulation.
Finalists are reviewed by an expert panel of journalists, sustainability advocates, health professionals, beauty experts and conscious creators. The judging process combines ingredient scrutiny, brand ethics and hands-on product testing.
As a young brand founded by a female entrepreneur in her 50s, being recognised alongside so many respected names in conscious beauty feels incredibly significant.
Why We Created Nuit
Nuit was born from a desire to create an overnight face oil that felt deeply nourishing and gentle on sensitive skin.
For years, I personally struggled to find products that delivered results without irritation, overpowering fragrance or unnecessary fillers. I wanted Nuit to draw its superpowers from the oil and plants themselves - to feel comforting before bed and leave skin feeling deeply nourished by morning.
Every bottle of Nuit begins with weeks of slow infusion of organic botanicals into our polyphenol-rich New Zealand extra virgin olive oil, before being blended with organic jojoba and vitamin E for our final lightweight overnight serum.
Our hero botanical is babchi, naturally providing bakuchiol within the formula as a plant-based alternative often associated with traditional retinol-style skincare, but without the harshness many people experience.
Creating skincare without water, essential oils or synthetic fragrance was deeply important to me. I wanted the formula to feel supportive to the skin barrier first, while still feeling luxurious and elevated for evening use.

Nuit’s name and formula were inspired by the French seaside village of Akaroa, where I live beside the sea amongst our olive trees and slow botanical infusion methods.
We love creating slow skincare this way, allowing the plants, oils and infusion process to speak for themselves rather than relying on overpowering fragrance or marketing trends.
At EVOO+ botanicals, we believe beautiful skincare should feel great and connected to nature while still delivering an elevated experience. Most importantly, it should actually deliver incredible results.
