EVOO+ botanicals® is a waterless beauty and skincare collection developed in New Zealand and powered by exceptional, polyphenol-rich extra virgin olive oil.

Formulated at our Akaroa olive grove, each product begins with New Zealand extra virgin olive oil selected for its antioxidant potency, natural squalene content and high concentration of protective polyphenols. These bioactive compounds are recognised for their ability to defend against environmental stress and support long term skin resilience.

It is the foundation of every EVOO+ botanicals formulation.

Slow Infusion

Skin supportive botanicals are infused into our extra virgin olive oil over weeks, allowing phytonutrients and antioxidants to be drawn out naturally. Ingredients such as marshmallow leaf, kawakawa, mānuka, rosehips, green tea and ginseng are selected for their soothing, strengthening and revitalising properties.

After infusion, each batch is blended into balms with plant butters such as mango and avocado, or into skincare serums with organic jojoba oil, then bottled in limited quantities in New Zealand to maintain purity.

There are no essential oils and no artificial fragrance in our formulations.

Skin Barrier Support

Contemporary dermatology increasingly recognises the importance of skin barrier support and microbiome balance.

Olive oil contains naturally occurring squalene, a lipid also found within the skin itself. Its structural affinity allows it to absorb seamlessly and reinforce the skin barrier.

Olive derived polyphenols provide antioxidant defence, helping to protect the skin from environmental stress, free radicals and visible external impact.

This is nourishment that works with the skin rather than against it.

The Waterless Standard

We do not dilute.

By excluding water from our skincare formulations, we preserve concentration and reduce the need for synthetic preservatives and artificial fragrance. What remains is a concentrated blend of carefully selected botanicals, chosen for their compatibility with the skin and their restorative properties.

Our oils and serums are housed in ultraviolet protective black glass to preserve integrity and stability. Balms are poured into recyclable aluminium tins. These material choices are deliberate, selected for function, longevity and considered impact.

EVOO+ botanicals® is a vegan and cruelty free brand, composed of plant based oils and botanicals, and free from added alcohol, synthetic fragrance, silicones and parabens.

Where possible, we work with New Zealand grown ingredients and local suppliers, maintaining small batch integrity.
